Privacy Policy
Effective from April 20, 2024.
The Yarrow platform collects the following personal data through chatbots:
Your nickname to use in daily reminders from the chatbot
Year of your birth with an accuracy of +/- one year to determine your age and not show learning content "for adults" to children (for example, strong curse words).
Your time zone with an accuracy of +/- one hour, to determine when your learning day ends.
Your unique Telegram ID provided through the Telegram API for authorization and authentication of your Yarrow account. This ID does not match your Telegram username. The Yarrow platform does not have the technical ability to match this ID and Telegram username, or to receive your phone number or email from Telegram.
All of the above data is stored in the Yarrow platform database in encrypted form (using our cloud provider), with access to the data limited by password. All the above data is not transferred to third parties.

The Yarrow Platform collects recordings of your voice messages that you voluntarily provide to this service in exchange for free use of it, under the following conditions:
a recording of your voice message is stored together with your unique Telegram ID until moderation of your recording is completed. This is necessary to block Yarrow accounts if users violate the rules of use of the service, for example, recording offensive voice messages instead of those provided by the chatbot.
the recording of your voice message, together with your unique identifier, is stored in the Yarrow platform database in encrypted form (using the cloud provider), with access to data limited by password, and is never transferred to third parties.
After moderation is completed, the recording of your voice message is stored in a separate database, without your unique identifier. The Yarrow platform at this stage does not have the technical ability to match voice messages with specific users.
Recordings of voice messages without reference to user IDs can be used in the following ways:
in Yarrow platform language courses
for training AI of Yarrow platform
for transfer to third parties for a fee
these voice messages cannot be deleted from the Yarrow database at your request, because there is no technical way to match them with your unique identifiers.
If you do not agree to the terms of storage and transmission of your voice messages described above, then you can use the Yarrow platform without using the service of recording your voice messages in exchange for free use.
The Yarrow platform processes your voice messages sent by you while taking lessons in chatbots, merging them with voice messages from other speakers and returning them to you for listening. In this case, the Yarrow platform does not store voice recordings in the database; messages are removed from RAM by the .Net garbage collector. These voice messages are not transferred to third parties.
The developers of the Yarrow platform reserve the right to change this privacy policy at their discretion. In this case, you will be notified via Yarrow chatbots that a new version of the policy is available. By continuing to use the service, you automatically agree to the new version of the policy.
